Welcome!

Fun tips, tools, and resources to build children's fine motor skills.

Fun Strokes is your go-to site for information, inspiration, and resources that have been thoughtfully curated to equip children with the tools they need to be successful in school and in life. Fun Strokes was created by me, a pediatric occupational therapist, to facilitate understanding and insight into the very complex area of fine motor skill development. Fun Strokes is for parents, teachers, therapists, and anyone who has a passion for helping children.

Hello! I’m happy you’ve found me. I hope that you’ll stick around. Join the Fun Strokes community where it’s all about helping children succeed in fun and engaging ways.

“My 5 year old son will be going to Kindergarten next year and he was in need of some assistance with his overall handwriting skills (including drawingut straight lines, shapes, letters, and numbers).  When I saw the advertisement for Fun Strokes, I really wanted him to participate in hopes that his writing skills would improve.  This program did just that and it helped with his self confidence.   His Pre-K teacher noticed a difference before she was even aware that he was attending Fun Strokes.  I would definitely recommend this program for students who need that extra boost!”

Covid-19 mitigation measures will be in place in all programs.
